July 2009

NEBTEK was present as a sponsor for REDucation on Community Day, July 23, represented by Andrew Rozendal and Devin Coor. They presented NEBTEK'S newest products such as the SolarHD 7 featuring the IDX CamWave wireless HD transmission system, the Panasonic BT-LH2550 in the NEBTEK stand bracket, and also had a running demo of the Q-Take system. Andrew and Devin met with the student attendees of REDucation to discuss and answer questions regarding NEBTEK'S products and services followed by visiting with the general public in the afternoon and evening. It was a great experience and we can't wait to go back for the October, November, and December sessions!

July has arrived, and here at NEBTEK we are excited to announce we are still on track to begin shipment of the SolarHD 7 the last week of this month! Keep up with us and pre-order NOW to assure you get your monitor along with the rest!

June 2009

Among those present at The Great Daylight Monitor Shootout was George Paddock of GPI who is currently developing his new HD-SDI PRO SYSTEM for Steadicam. He was impressed with the SolarHD 7 and is now collaborting with NEBTEK to make his new HD-SDI PRO SYSTEM a perfect fit for the SolarHD 7!

The weekend following the CineGear Expo, owner and founder of NEBTEK, Gaylen Nebeker returned to Los Angeles for The Great Daylight Monitor Shootout hosted by Charles Papert. There, monitors were displayed on a rotisserie-style set-up to enable keeping all monitors in direct sunlight in order to observe their endurance and viewablility in sunlight; and to compare to the others present. NEBTEK represented three monitors: the new and anticipated SolarHD 7, the 600 NIT NEB70HDS, both 7" monitors, and the Blackbird Sunlight Viewable 6.5" monitor. We also featured the CW-5HD wireless transmission system.

NEBTEK is pleased with the reactions to the SolarHD 7 which seems to now be favored by Steadicam users! Reported results of the show have turned out testimonials suggesting 'The SolarHD 7 was the best in its price-range with the most useful features.'
